January 2010 – Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is a singer, songwriter, fashion designer, pianist and performance artist. She began performing in the rock music scene of New York City’s Lower East Side. Lady Gaga soon signed with Streamline Recordupon its establishment in 2007. During her early time at Interscope, Gaga worked as a songwriter for fellow label artists and captured the attention of Akon.

Her debut album The Fame was released in August 2008 and was a critical and commercial success. The albulm went number-one in four countries, also topping the Billboard Top Electronic Albums chart in the United States. The album’s first two singles, “Just Dance” and “Poker Face” have become international number-one hits. In early 2009, after having opened for the Pussycat Dolls, Gaga embarked on her first headlining tour, The Fame Ball Tour. By the end of 2009, Gaga released The Fame Monster, an extension of The Fame, containing eight new songs with the global chart-topping lead single “Bad Romance“, as well as having embarked on her second headlining tour of the year, The Monster Ball Tour.

To date, she has sold over eight million records worldwide, Gaga has been known for wearing outrages and unique wardrobe, but Gaga has inspired millions of fans to be comfortable in one self’s skin. Although Lady Gaga may be unique she has taken the world by storm and inspired many of us that with hard work and dedication our dreams can come true and thats why Lady Gaga is our first Artist of the Month of 2010. No one deserves it more than she does!

November – Selena Gomez

Since starting her acting career at the age of 7 Selena has truly become one of the most influential teens in the entire world. With her recently release debut album “Selena Gomez and the Scene: Kiss and Tell” Selena has shown us what she has to offer. Being one of the first hispanic origin actresses hired by Disney for Disney Channel, Selena has become the ideal role model for children and teens of all ages. Selena has recently announced that she will have her own clothing line “Dream Out Loud” in 2010. With so many things on her plate Selena has never had a bad reputation or has been in the  middle of a scandal. Selena has also focused her time in helping less fortunate children in third world countries by teaming up and becoming the youngest ambassador for Unicef for a second consecutive year. Selena Gomez is and will always be the best role model for everyone at any age. That’s why Selena Gomez is November’s “Artist of The Month.”

October – Justin Bieber


From starting his career on his Youtube page Justin Bieber has sure come a long way. Today he is one of the hottest teen stars in the Billboard charts. He has thousands of fans who follow him where ever he goes. He became a nation hit with his single “One Time,” which blew up on the music charts. His second single “One Less Lonely Girl,” made the top 10 on it’s release date.  2009 has been a great year for Justin now we will have to wait for what 2010 has in stored for him. Justin began from Youtube and now is a Worldwide hit, and thats why Justin Bieber is October’s and our FIRST Artist Of The Month. He deserves it!
